# PJSR helpers written during the IC 443 session (25 October 2026)

PixInsight JavaScript (ES5) that the agent wrote for this dataset and loaded through the
connector's run_pjsr `include` option. Paths are scrubbed; the code is otherwise as it ran.
Most files expect the flow's pjsr-helpers.js from the pixinsight-lrgb-linear-basic skill
(findSkyTiles, levelSky, skyMedians, closeId), which is not part of this package.

- bg_flatten.js: flattenBackground, an L-masked background model for the RGB dust ring
  (32 px cells, nebula cells masked by the HOS luminance and filled by diffusion).
- nb_colour.js: nbColour, narrowband-enhanced natural colour for the first finish.
- palette_finish.js: palette finishing helpers: chromaMask, starCentre, repairDisc,
  localFlatten, removeStarHalo, grainZones, addGrainBand, coreKeep, zoneChromaSmooth, softKnee.
- dust_lanes.js: laneMask, tameLanes and laneStats for the dark-lane taming.
- refine.js: rfStarless, rfStarProtect, skyResidueClean, wormClean, chromaClean and
  tailContrast for the final refinements.
